Brussels / For the first time in the history of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, an Overseas Convention has been organized, alongside the appointment of a distinguished and visionary personality, Chief Secretary Khushhal Khan. This landmark development has been widely welcomed by overseas Pakistanis and is being viewed as a major step toward strengthening ties between the diaspora and their homeland.
Overseas Pakistanis stated that Field Marshal Asim Munir’s strong leadership qualities and courageous policies have elevated Pakistan’s global standing and restored national pride. They said that today Pakistanis walk with their heads held high across the world due to the government’s decisive and visionary measures.
They further expressed that the appointment of Chief Secretary Khushhal Khan has significantly boosted the confidence of overseas Pakistanis. Known for his lifelong dedication to public service and humanitarian values, Khushhal Khan is regarded as a patriotic and people-oriented officer. Under his leadership, Azad Kashmir has hosted its first-ever Overseas Convention, opening the doors of the region to overseas investors and entrepreneurs.
This initiative is expected to encourage overseas Pakistanis to expand their businesses and investments in Azad Kashmir, which will generate employment opportunities, strengthen the local economy, and put the region firmly on the path of sustainable development and prosperity.
CEO Pak Media Centre, Waqar Malik, along with prominent members of European think tanks, paid glowing tribute to Chief Secretary Khushhal Khan and Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Engineer Amir Muqam. They praised both leaders for their continuous efforts toward public welfare, humanitarian causes, and regional progress.
It was also announced that a Kashmir Conference will be organized in Brussels, the capital of the European Union, where both dignitaries will be specially invited and honored with awards in recognition of their outstanding services.
