Following India’s cowardly nighttime attack, Pakistan delivered a resounding response, shooting down five Indian aircraft and destroying an Indian Army brigade headquarters. Defense Minister Khawaja Asif confirmed to news agencies that Pakistan’s retaliatory strike successfully neutralized the threat while ensuring the safety of all Pakistani Air Force jets.
Pakistan Dominates in Retaliatory Strike
Khawaja Asif stated that Pakistan has gained the upper hand in the operation, effectively countering Indian aggression. Security sources revealed that the downed Indian aircraft included three Rafales, one MiG-29, and one SU-30. Additionally, another Indian Rafale was reportedly shot down 17 nautical miles southwest of Awantipora.
In a powerful response, the Pakistan Army also targeted and destroyed an Indian brigade headquarters. Indian media has reluctantly acknowledged the loss of at least three of their aircraft.
India Waves the White Flag
Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar declared that Pakistan’s forceful retaliation compelled India to admit defeat. He confirmed that five Indian aircraft and a drone were shot down, while Pakistani forces also eliminated enemy checkposts. Tarar emphasized that India’s symbolic waving of the white flag signifies not just military failure but also a defeat for its propaganda machinery.
*”India has always evaded investigations, and today, it came seeking revenge but fled in disgrace,”* Tarar stated. He further revealed that the extent of damage caused by India’s initial attack would be assessed soon.
Pakistan Alerts UN Security Council
The Foreign Office spokesperson confirmed that Pakistan has formally informed the United Nations Security Council about India’s unprovoked aggression. Pakistan’s permanent representative briefed the Council, asserting Pakistan’s right to respond to Indian hostilities at a time and place of its choosing.
