 Rana Sikandar Hayat Overseas Pakistanis Urged to Launch Educational Projects in Pakistan; Government to Provide Full Support London

International Migrants DayThe Government of Pakistan is rendering valuable services in the fields of education, healthcare, and especially in the education and training of children with disabilities. Punjab Chief Minister is a great blessing for the nation, who has resolved to prioritize public welfare over personal comfort. These views were expressed by Provincial Minister for Education Rana Sikandar Hayat during a meeting with a British delegation led by Dr. Anser Hayat.The provincial education minister assured the delegation that Pakistan does not compromise on health and education, as these sectors are a core part of the government’s policy. He emphasized that providing quality education and healthcare facilities to the public is considered a fundamental responsibility of the state. He added that the people of Pakistan are steadily moving towards progress.

Rana Sikandar Hayat stated that unique and innovative projects have been launched in Punjab’s education sector. He invited overseas Pakistanis and foreign investors to invest in education in Punjab, acquire land, construct school buildings, and contribute to educational development as a charitable cause in the names of their parents and ancestors. He assured that the Punjab government would extend full support in this regard Highlighting a notable example, the minister mentioned that Muhammad Sajid from Mojianwala, currently residing in Manchester, UK, not only donated land for a school but also contributed to the construction of the building. The institution will now be upgraded to a Higher Secondary School, providing educational opportunities for girls in the area and enabling them to play a productive role in society.

The provincial minister praised Dr. Anser Hayat and Muhammad Sajid, calling them valuable national assets who continue to serve their homeland despite living abroad. He also commended Additional Secretary Saif Anwar Jappa for his outstanding contributions to public welfare across Punjab and for his keen interest in the upgradation of the Mojianwala school.

Rana Sikandar Hayat further stated that the establishment of a medical college in Mandi Bahauddin will bring long-term developmental benefits to the region.Meanwhile, prominent British businessman Muhammad Sajid appreciated the services of Dr. Anser Hayat and Waqar Malik, stating that such dedicated personalities are playing a vital role in steering Pakistan towards progress. He said that Dr. Anser Hayat’s visit to Pakistan reflects his tireless engagement in both official and social commitments, aimed at promoting business ties between Pakistan and the UK and fostering harmony within the community.Muhammad Sajid added that Dr. Anser Hayat has successfully united the Pakistani community in the UK and enhanced Pakistan’s image abroad, which has also helped counter anti-Pakistan elements. He described Provincial Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat and Additional Secretary Saif Anwar Jappa as true public servants and frontline representatives of the Punjab Chief Minister, who are sincerely working for the welfare and betterment of the people.
