Saima Zahra, a Aswa Public School Gamba Skardu student, has achieved a remarkable feat by winning a gold medal in the international Singapore and Asian Schools Math Olympiad (SASMO).
Numerous students from around the world participated in this prestigious competition, and Saima Zahra stood out with her exceptional performance. In addition to her gold medal, two other students secured silver medals, while three others earned additional awards. As a result of their success, they are now qualified to participate in further international competitions scheduled to take place in England in the first week of August this year.
On this occasion, Saima Zahra expressed her joy, stating:
“I feel extremely happy to have participated in an international online competition and secured a top position, which has now qualified me for the next stage in England. Behind this success are the blessings and support of my school principal, respected teachers, and my parents’ trust and prayers. God willing, I will continue to represent my school, region, and country in future international competitions and make them proud.
