The sacrifices of the martyrs for the defense of the country will always be remembered” – Zahid Bakhtawari

A special ceremony was held at the Civil Defence Office in Rawalpindi in connection with Pakistan’s Defence Day. The event was attended by Punjab Health Advisor Zahid Bakhtawari as the chief guest. On this occasion, the smartly turned-out contingent of Civil Defence Rawalpindi presented a salute and guard of honour.

During the ceremony, Zahid Bakhtawari laid a floral wreath at the Martyrs’ Memorial and prayed for the elevation of their ranks, the safety and stability of the country, and the well-being of the people and the armed forces of Pakistan. Assistant Director Civil Defence Muhammad Talib Hussain and Deputy Chief Warden Muhammad Zahid were also present alongside him.

Zahid Bakhtawari and other participants paid tribute to the courage and determination of the armed forces. In his concluding remarks, Zahid Bakhtawari appreciated the services of Assistant Director Civil Defence Muhammad Talib Hussain as a Civil Defence Officer and said that his contributions would always be remembered in the history of Rawalpindi.

On this occasion, officers of Civil Defence and other attendees also paid homage to the invaluable services of the armed forces in connection with Defence Day of Pakistan and reaffirmed their commitment to the security of the country.
