International Leaders Gather at UPF’s Ambassadors for Peace Tri-Annual Assembly; Pakistan’s Contributions to Peace and Global Cooperation Recognized

WASHINGTON, D.C.: Ameer Hamza Panjri, a 17-year-old Pakistani student and emerging youth leader, was recognized as an Ambassador for Peace during the prestigious Ambassadors for Peace Tri-Annual Assembly organized by the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) in Washington, D.C.
The high-profile international gathering brought together diplomats, current and former government officials, members of Congress, former senators, military leaders, faith representatives, social activists, and peace advocates from around the world to discuss global peace, interfaith harmony, youth leadership, and international cooperation.
Hosted by UPF President Dr. Viverica, the event was attended by senior leadership of The Washington Times, diplomatic representatives from several countries, distinguished guests from Azerbaijan, and representatives associated with United Nations peace and development initiatives.
During the assembly, speakers emphasized the importance of dialogue, mutual respect, and collaboration among nations and cultures in addressing contemporary global challenges. Several distinguished individuals were recognized for their contributions to peacebuilding and humanitarian service and were formally honored as Ambassadors for Peace.
Among the highlights of the event was the recognition of Ameer Hamza Panjri, whose participation symbolized the growing role of youth in promoting peace, understanding, and community engagement. He met with international dignitaries, diplomatic representatives, and community leaders, exchanging views on youth empowerment and global cooperation.
