The Pakistan Day Parade in New York city was observed after Court permission . Due to the Controversy between two groups most of the time was spent in Court matters and admins could not make proper arrangements for the parade . Usually Parade makes couple of rows on walking track but this time they could not even complete one row . The high ranking Pakistani Diplomates did not participate but lower level staff was visible in front row .
One of the objectionable item was Nait Sharief was presented in song shape . Nait with full music is haram in Islam. The musical show was successful , people enjoyed most of the stage presentations . The renowned Community Organizations amount them APAC , 4thpillar , APPAC , Muslim League PML and Muslim Police Force and Police Squad and PASOW were prominent .
Overall, the Pakistan Day Parade in New York appeared relatively low-key this year, with limited public participation and several stretches of the parade route remaining largely empty. While community organizations, women, children and various cultural groups added color to the event, the presence of Pakistani-American police officers and their organizations remained particularly prominent throughout the procession.
Political representation was comparatively subdued, with fewer prominent political figures visible than in previous years. The parade also drew criticism over the presentation of a Naat Sharif accompanied by full musical instrumentation, which sparked concern among some attendees.
However, the Pakistan Day musical program held at the Heart of the City emerged as the major success of the celebrations. The musical performances, along with children waving Pakistani flags and chanting “Pakistan Zindabad,” attracted a much larger audience, particularly in the evening. In short, while the parade itself fell short of expectations in terms of turnout and overall impact, the musical show successfully brought the Pakistani-American community together and provided a lively conclusion to the Pakistan Day celebrations in New York.
