Islamabad – The Young Journalists Association (YJA) has launched the “Digital Employment Training Program” in collaboration with the international organization Fourth Pillar. The inaugural training session was held under the leadership of Farooq Mirza, President of Fourth Pillar, and was attended by several members of the YJA.
The program’s objective is to equip youth with opportunities in online employment and the digital sector. The opening session took place on Tuesday, October 7, at 4 PM in Islamabad. To ensure focused professional training in digital skills, the first batch is limited to just 20 participants.
According to a spokesperson, upon completing the training, the youth will become part of the “Young Entrepreneurs Network,” where they will gain access to various freelancing and online platforms. This initiative aims to make young people self-reliant while aligning them with the latest trends in digital media and online work.
YJA President Muhammad Yusuf Khan stated, “This program is not only for journalists but is open to youth from all walks of life, enabling them to shape a brighter future in the digital world.”
