Pakistan American Chamber Welcomes Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh in Los Angeles

The Pakistan American Chamber of Commerce extended a warm welcome to Ambassador of Pakistan, His Excellency Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, during his Los Angeles visit, hosting a brunch in his honor. The event drew a diverse group of community leaders, entrepreneurs, and businessmen, including directors of the Pak Am Tech Council from LA and Silicon Valley, and special guests from the Latin American community.

A farewell ceremony was held as well for Consul General Asim Ali Khan, who concluded his tenure and will assume his new role as Pakistan’s Ambassador to Norway. Ambassador Sheikh expressed his gratitude to PACC for uniting business and community leaders and promoting a positive image of Pakistan. He highlighted Pakistan’s significant efforts in mediating peace between the US and Iran, earning recognition as a peace-loving nation.

Fatima Khan welcomed the guests, thanking attendees for their presence. PACC Chairman Waqar Ali Khan and President Fawad Ismail praised Consul General Asim Ali Khan’s dedication to community activities and his pivotal role in various PACC events. The Consul General commended PACC’s relentless efforts in serving the community and fostering relationships. Najeeb Ghauri, CEO of Netsol Technologies Inc and president of Pak Am Tech Council, also spoke, praising Asim Ali Khan and thanking PACC for the invitation.

Other attendees included Dr. Sana Khan, Dr. Razaq Choudhry, Ahmed Ali, Dr. Imran Sharief, Anees Bakali, Abdul Ghani Moulvi, Fareed Jafrey, Anwar Khan, and Wajahat Hussain to name a few PACC presented a heartfelt appreciation to Consul General Asim Ali Khan, wishing him success in his new role, and recognition plaques were presented by PACC’s board and Safeer e Pakistan. Artesia Council member Ali Taj presented a proclamation to the Consul General. PACC board members including Mohsin Arshad, Nasir Rao, Nadeem Khwaja thanked attendees for joining the esteemed guests despite the warm So Cal weather. A special thanks goes to Khan Saab Desi Craft Cuisine at their Hawaiian Garden location for serving a sumptuous brunch
