Political and social leader Chaudhry Inaam Zafar stated that Defence Day is a day to pay tribute to our martyrs and war veterans. He emphasized the need for national unity and pledged that as a united nation, we must stand shoulder to shoulder with our armed forces to confront every act of aggression by the enemy, and foil every conspiracy against our military. He added that there is no doubt the strategic wisdom of our forces is unmatched. The Awaam Pakistan Party salutes the eternal sacrifices of our armed forces.
In an important statement on the occasion of Defence Day, he said that September 6 reminds us of the nation’s defense during the 1965 war, when our armed forces displayed exceptional strategy against India and bravely defended our borders.
Chaudhry Inaam Zafar said that unity between the people and the military will further strengthen Pakistan’s borders. He emphasized that September 6 is a day to honor our martyrs.The development and progress of the state is not possible without the younger generation, and that we must consistently educate our children about the sacrifices of our martyrs and veterans.
He urged that all internal and external conspiracies against the military must be exposed. He further said that we must always remember: If the army exists, Pakistan exists.
Chaudhry Inaam Zafar concluded by saying that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Miftah Ismail, Usman Abbasi, and every political worker of the Awaam Pakistan Party stands firmly with the Pakistan Armed Forces.
