The Pakistani-American community in the United States is joyfully celebrating Eid with a series of Eid Milan parties and gatherings following the holy month of Ramadan. This year, after observing Ramadan with dedicated iftars, dinners, and religious observance of Eid, the community particularly in states like New York, New Jersey, Brooklyn, and others has come together in large numbers to mark the occasion.
Thousands of Muslims, including families with children, celebrated Eid in various cities, emphasizing family bonding, traditional attire, and communal harmony. Immediately after Eid prayers, Eid Milan parties and receptions are being held at multiple venues, fostering unity and joy.

A major highlight was organized by PAC- USA a prominent Pakistani-American organization and key community group led by its chairman Humayun Shabir . In Hicksville, New York, PAC-USA hosted a grand Eid Milan dinner party that brought together distinguished personalities, leaders, and representatives from various Pakistani-American organizations. The event emphasized themes of unity, faith, discipline, and strong harmony.
Attendees, especially women and youth, wore vibrant traditional Pakistani clothing colorful shalwar kameez, lehengas, and jewelry while men appeared in new Eid outfits. The atmosphere was filled with happiness, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of togetherness.

The Chairman Humayun Shabbir said that the primary goal of the event was to unite different community organizations, reduce distances and past misunderstandings caused by personal differences or disputes, and strengthen the overall Pakistani-American community. For the past few years or so, large scale community events had been limited or absent due to such divisions and factionalism.
