Islamabad, October 7, 2025 – A grand luncheon was held today at the Polo Ground of Islamabad Club to pay tribute to this year’s Presidential Award recipients among prominent journalists, recognizing their outstanding contributions to the field.
The event featured Syed Sumar Abbas, Aamir Ilyas Rana, Adil Abbasi, Aniqah Nisar, and Arshad Malik, who were felicitated for their exemplary professional services. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The gathering drew a significant turnout of senior journalists and representatives from various media organizations. Among the notable attendees were Afzal Butt, President of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ); Mirza Farooq, President of Fourth Pillar; Ali Raza Syed, Chairman of the Kashmir Council European Union; Mohsin Reza Khan; Tanzila Mazhar; Rehan Ahmed, Director of News at Hum TV; Mateen Haider; Sara Khan; Irfan Ghauri, Editor of V News; Ali Farqan; and several others.
