Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo Expresses Deep Grief Over the Passing of Barrister Sultan Mahmood

Kashmiri Hurriyat leader, former Chairman of a prominent Kashmiri think tank, and head of Kashmir Centre Europe, Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo, has expressed profound sorrow and grief over the sudden demise of the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood.While speaking to journalists in London, he described Barrister Sultan Mahmood as a sincere, fearless, courageous, and bold leader who consistently played a key role in highlighting the Kashmir issue at the international level. He said that through the platform of Kashmir Centre Europe, Barrister Sultan Mahmood extended full support and ensured his active participation in raising the voice of the Kashmiri people globally.

Barrister Tramboo stated that the late leader was not only a strong voice for Kashmiris but had also become a symbol of the Kashmiri nation. His passing has created a vacuum that will be difficult to fill. The Kashmiri people have lost a devoted and committed leader, and his absence will always be deeply felt.

He further added that he shared a long-standing relationship of trust with Barrister Sultan Mahmood, and based on that trust, they worked together to highlight the Kashmir issue at the international level through joint efforts. The services and contributions of Barrister Sultan Mahmood, he said, will never be forgotten.He concluded by praying for the elevation of the deceased’s ranks and for patience and strength for the bereaved family.
