Muslim Community Secures Annual Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Remembrance Day Proclamation from NYC Mayor

“Today, I felt deeply humbled and appreciative of Allah Almighty’s benevolence, having successfully organized and hosted the historic 1500th birthday commemoration of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) at Manhattan’s City Hall. This momentous occasion brought together prominent Muslim leaders and imams, including Imam Musa Drammeh, with Mayor Eric Adams graciously attending as the chief guest.

I had the honor of inviting Mayor Adams to proclaim our Prophet’s birthday as an annual Remembrance Day, and he kindly assured us of its future implementation. I also presented a citation for this holy event to Mayor Eric Adams.

The Muslim community of New York wholeheartedly endorses Mayor Eric Adams for re-election as Mayor for the next four years. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Atia Shahnaz, Tauqeer UlL Haq, Sajjad Madni, TV One USA, and the entire media team for their support.

May God bless the USA.
