FREEPORT, NY — December 19, 2025 (Friday) — Demonstrating compassion and commitment to humanitarian service, the directors of the Pakistani American community of Long Island organization, PACOLI, volunteered today at the Soup to Nuts Soup Kitchen in Freeport, New York.
The volunteers assisted in food preparation, packing essential eatables, and serving meals to the needy, hungry, and homeless. Despite extreme weather conditions, PACOLI Team visited the facility with a helping hand and caring hearts, united by a single purpose to serve humanity. The team worked both inside the kitchen and in the main lobby, ensuring meals were prepared and distributed efficiently to those in need.

In addition to hands-on service, PACOLI directors presented a monetary contribution to the facility to support its continued partnership and vital humanitarian cause. All contributions were made personally by the directors without any external funding.
This visit marked PACOLI’s third service engagement at the Soup to Nuts Soup Kitchen. Previously, the organization also volunteered at the Mary Brennan INN Soup Kitchen in Hempstead, reflecting its ongoing dedication to addressing food insecurity across Long Island.

President Tauqeer Ul Haq, Senior Vice President ,Shabbar Qureshi ,Executive Director Atiq Qadri, Vice President Syed Azhar Zaidi, Treasurer Shabnam Ali , Director Mr. Gulfam Khan , Director Ms. Ghazia Hussain , Director Alisha Bari.
Beyond food service, PACOLI also distributed hundreds of toys to children from underprivileged families. The joy and smiles on the innocent faces of the children made the event especially meaningful for all volunteers.
PACOLI director , Tauqeer UL Haq expressed deep gratitude to Almighty Allah for the opportunity to serve and reflected with pride on being on the giving and serving side. The Organization reaffirmed its commitment to continue its mission of humanitarian service and to actively support local communities through compassion, action, and unity.
