New York: The Pakistani American organization Pak USA organized a vibrant cultural festival in Long Island, New York, to celebrate Pakistan Day. The event was attended by the Consul General of New York and officials from Nassau County.
A large number of women and children participated in the festival. Stalls showcasing traditional Pakistani clothing and cuisine were prominent features of the event.
Pakistani artists captivated the audience by singing national songs, creating an enchanting atmosphere. The energetic dance performances on stage to the beat of the dholak were particularly noteworthy.
Addressing the gathering, the Consul General of New York stated, “Pakistan is our pride and honor. The Pakistani American community holds immense love for Pakistan and expresses this affection on Pakistan Day by singing the national anthem.”
Humayoun Shabir, President of Pak USA, said, “We have presented a glimpse of Pakistan here at this festival. We extend our Independence Day greetings to Pakistanis living in Pakistan and abroad.”
