Switzerland is considered one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Its snow-covered high mountains, crystal-clear lakes, green valleys, and breathtaking natural landscapes make it a true paradise for tourists. Every year, millions of tourists from around the world visit this country and are deeply impressed by its peaceful environment, excellent governance, high standard of living, and cleanliness. That is why Switzerland is widely regarded as a symbol of peace, prosperity, and modern lifestyle.
During a visit to this beautiful and peaceful country, I had the opportunity to meet people from various walks of life, including journalists and important officials. In these meetings and discussions, one thing became very clear: the name of Pakistan is being mentioned more positively at the international level than before. This was not only surprising for me but also a matter of great satisfaction, as serious discussions about Pakistan’s foreign policy and global role are taking place in different parts of the world.It is also a reality that speeches and policy statements by American presidents are closely listened to and carefully analyzed around the world. Many countries take these statements into account when shaping their own foreign policy and diplomatic strategies. This influence can clearly be seen in international media, newspapers, television debates, and social media platforms, where global politics appears deeply interconnected.
During conversations in Switzerland, several individuals mentioned Pakistan’s recent diplomatic activities and its regional role. In particular, discussions referred to Pakistan’s leadership, including Field Marshal Asim Munir and the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Some participants appreciated Pakistan’s role in promoting peace and stability in the region and viewed it as an important regional power.
Interestingly, some foreign journalists and analysts showed more interest in Pakistan’s international role and state policies than in its internal political situation. Their view was that the true identity of a country is shaped by its economy, diplomacy, efforts for peace, and international relations.Representatives of the journalists’ organization “Impressum” also expressed positive views about Pakistan and showed interest in conducting a study visit to Pakistan in order to better understand ground realities and present an accurate picture in their reporting. According to them, Pakistan has recently presented its diplomatic presence in a more organized and effective manner.
Various observers also noted that today’s world gives greater importance to peace, development, and economic stability rather than conflict and tension. Countries that play a positive role in these areas receive greater international recognition. In this context, Pakistan’s role is also being viewed from a positive perspective and is being appreciated.Overall, this journey strengthened the impression that Pakistan’s global image is improving. However, it is also a fact that the true development of any country does not depend solely on external perception, but on internal stability, education, economy, justice, and institutional strength, which still require attention.
Therefore, it is necessary that Pakistan continues its positive diplomatic progress while also pursuing internal reforms and development. With national unity, hard work, and consistency, Pakistan can not only further strengthen its position on the global stage but also ensure a better and more prosperous future for its people.
Today, Pakistan’s name and stature have risen. The people of Pakistan should support their government and, through their conduct and character, play their role in promoting the country’s image. They should also counter propaganda against Pakistan and contribute positively to highlighting the country’s reputation.
