New York, My 18, 2025 — The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) organized a grand ceremony in the United States to celebrate Pakistan’s victory in the recent Indo-Pak conflict, drawing a large crowd of political figures, diaspora members, and supporters. The event, marked by patriotic fervor, highlighted Pakistan’s resilience and valor in the face of aggression.
Addressing the gathering, Consul General of Pakistan in New York, Amir Attozi, lauded the nation’s armed forces and people. “The Pakistan People’s Party invited us to celebrate this joy and express love for our country. We are grateful to them,” he stated. “Pakistan fought its war bravely, peacefully, and in an exemplary manner. Today is special because we stand united as one nation.”
Attozi condemned India’s “barbarity and brutality,” accusing the Indian government of launching a nighttime attack on Pakistan. “Our brave forces delivered a historic lesson on land, air, and sea—one that future generations will remember,” he declared. Emphasizing Pakistan’s spiritual foundation, he added, “Pakistan was built in the name of Allah, born on the 23rd of Ramadan. A country founded in the name of Islam cannot be defeated. It will endure forever.”
The Consul General praised the unity of Pakistan’s populace, stating, “Every child, young man, elder, and woman of Pakistan is a soldier. Pakistan is not just land; it is a dream, a passion. The ‘madness’ demonstrated by our forces is unmatched in history.” He highlighted the military’s tactical brilliance, noting how Pakistani pilots “shot down missiles and planes with superior ranges—a feat that will be studied in global colleges.”
Attozi cautioned against complacency, asserting, “India planned an attack, and we responded fittingly. But do not assume they will not strike again.” He criticized India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its ideological parent, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), for destabilizing regional peace. “Under Modi, no neighbor—be it Pakistan, China, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, or Bhutan—has been spared from aggression. The BJP government thrives on conflict.”
Urging diaspora members to amplify Pakistan’s narrative, Attozi said, “Support your country and share our truth with those unaware. When sovereignty is at stake, we must speak with one voice and one heart. Silence in such times is a crime.” He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to peace but vowed defiance against oppression: “Our foreign policy seeks regional stability, but if war is necessary against tyranny, it becomes our duty.”
The ceremony concluded with chants of “Pakistan Zindabad!” as attendees reaffirmed their allegiance to the nation. The PPP’s event not only celebrated military success but also reinforced the diaspora’s role as ambassadors of Pakistan’s resilience and ideals.
