Speech by Dr Ayesha Mujtaba:

Distinguished Guests and Dear Friends,
Assalamu Alaikum and good evening.
I am Dr. Ayesha Mujtaba, joined by my brothers Dr. Assad Mujtaba, a well-known leader in Passaic County, and Dr. Athar Mujtaba, a clinician serving our community. It is an honor to welcome you to this special evening, where we celebrate the sacred festival of Eid-ul-Adha and the Aqiqa of my newborn nephew, baby Musa, son of my elder sister, Dr. Tarannum Mujtaba—a brilliant radiologist from Chicago with dual specialization in breast imaging and neuroradiology.

Eid-ul-Adha reminds us of the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), whose unwavering faith inspires millions across Islam, Christianity, and Judaism. The Aqiqa ceremony, like the Jewish Pinyon HaBen or Christian baptism, reflects a shared reverence for life, family, and divine blessings.

Musa—named after the revered Prophet Moses—binds us in a tradition of compassion, devotion, and unity across faiths.
This evening is about celebrating faith, family, and above all, community. Your presence reflects the strength of

our shared values and interfaith harmony.
