NEW YORK, NY – The Muslim community in New York warmly invites all to participate in its annual Eid Milad-un-Nabi procession and conference, celebrating the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The event, organized with great reverence and joy, is scheduled for Saturday, August 31, 2025.
The day’s festivities will commence with a procession starting at 11:00 AM from Dera Restaurant, located at 12th Street Broadway. The parade will proceed through the Boulevard, proceed to Diwerti Plana, and culminate at the Kebab King Restaurant.
A grand Milad-un-Nabi conference will immediately follow at the Kebab King Restaurant. The conference will feature prayers, sermons, and devotional poetry (Na`at) in honor of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The event is organized under the leadership of Mr. Safdar Hussain, President of the New York Anjuman Nakhoshiya. The community is honored to host several esteemed spiritual leaders and scholars as special guests, including:

The event will also feature devotional recitations and poetry by renowned Naat Khwans (reciters), including Muhammad Asghar Pashti Saheb, Sana Khwan Salah Mohtar Jannat, and Sana Khwan Sadhaq.
