New York: The Consul General of Pakistan in New York, Mr. Aamer Ahmed Atozai, attended the 17th Annual Scholarship Award Dinner organized by the Muslim Officers Society of the New York Police Department (NYPD). The event, held to honor and recognize the contributions of Muslim officers, was attended by a large number of NYPD Muslim officers, their families, community leaders, elected officials, and members of the media.
Addressing the gathering, New York City Mayor Hon. Eric Adams and NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch praised the dedication and service of Muslim police officers, highlighting their important role in promoting law and order, justice, and community harmony across the city.
Mr. Aamer Ahmed Atozai commended the efforts of the Muslim Officers Society, noting that their service not only strengthens the fabric of New York but also serves as a source of pride for the Pakistani-American community.
