The Pakistani-American Community Organization PACOLI has dissolved its previous administrative body, by its Founder and Chairman, Bashir Qamar, announcing a new leadership team. The newly appointed President is a prominent community leader Atiq Qadri, while Humayun Safdar will serve as Senior Vice President. Salman Zafar has been named Treasurer to oversee the Organization’s financial matters.
For decades, PACOLI has served the Pakistani-American Community, preserving Pakistan’s culture and traditions in the U.S.A .The Organization has united the diaspora and advocated for issues such as Kashmir. Recently, however, internal conflicts arose when long-time associates of Bashir Qamar who had been sidelined due to severe illness attempted to exploit the situation by forming a breakaway group. They announced a Pakistan Day event under a new name, despite the permit still being issued in Qamar’s name, causing division and damaging PACOLI’s reputation.
Taking swift action, Bashir Qamar dissolved the previous administrative body, expelled the dissenting members, and announced a new team to quash rumors and restore stability. He reaffirmed PACOLI’ s commitment to celebrating Pakistan Day with the same enthusiasm as in previous years.

The Pakistani-American community has welcomed the new leadership and expressed prayers for Qamar’s health. The reorganization aims to strengthen PACOLI ’s mission and maintain unity within the community.
