Did Pakistan Share Intelligence with Iran Against Israel?

Islamabad, June 15, 2025: Several social media accounts linked to India’s intelligence agency, Research & Analysis Wing (RAW), have been spreading false claims. They allege that Pakistan provided Iran with classified intelligence on Israeli targets. However, this claim is entirely baseless.
These rumors began circulating on June 14 following Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif’s speech in the National Assembly. Some Indian social media pages misrepresented his comments, taking them out of context to suggest that Pakistan had assisted Iran in its attack on Israel.
Adding to the confusion, some falsely labeled Khawaja Asif as Pakistan’s Prime Minister.
World should be wary and apprehensive about Israel’s nuclear prowess, a country not bound by any international nuclear discipline not signatory to NPT or any other binding arrangement. Pakistan is signatory to all international nuclear disciplines, our nuclear capability is for…

In his speech, Asif only mentioned Pakistan’s moral and diplomatic support for Iran. He never spoke about sharing intelligence or military assistance. Anyone who understands Urdu can listen to the full speech and confirm that he never referenced any covert support.
The false claims quickly spread online, sparking debates. However, there is no evidence that Pakistan supported Iran in this conflict.
Later, international news outlet RT acknowledged that it had misreported the story, issuing an apology and correcting its error.
This incident highlights how easily fake news can spread online, especially during times of war. The claim that Pakistan shared intelligence with Iran is completely false and based on a deliberate misinterpretation of the facts.
