International Emergency Team UK Organises London Fire Service Visit for Dr Rizwan Naseer to Strengthen UK–Pakistan Emergency Services Cooperation

London: International Emergency Team UK Chair Mehrban Sadiq organised a high-level visit for Dr Rizwan Naseer, the founder of Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122), to the London Fire Service. The visit focused on examining advanced water rescue operations, flood-response capabilities, firefighting equipment, and life-saving technologies used by UK emergency services.
The visit provided an important platform for sharing expertise and best practices between emergency service professionals from the United Kingdom and Pakistan. Discussions focused on improving emergency preparedness, enhancing flood response capabilities, preventing incidents, and strengthening strategies to save lives during natural disasters, particularly flooding in Pakistan.Dr Rizwan Naseer has played a transformative role in developing emergency response systems across Punjab and beyond. Through his vision, leadership, and dedication to professional training, Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) has become one of the most respected emergency response organisations in the region and is frequently recognised internationally as a model of excellence.
During the visit, experts demonstrated modern rescue equipment, specialist water-rescue resources, and operational procedures used by UK emergency services to respond effectively to floods and other large-scale emergencies.
