Valley Stream, Long Island- The second annual Eid Festival, organized under the leadership of Hamza Akram and Shamshad, was held with great enthusiasm and community spirit at Central Avenue, Valley Stream, Long Island. The colorful event attracted a large number of community members, families, and children who gathered to celebrate Eid in a joyful and festive atmosphere.

The Eid Festival transformed Central Avenue into a vibrant cultural and family-friendly gathering point where participants enjoyed traditional food, entertainment, and community engagement. Delicious Pakistani and South Asian delicacies including fresh jalebis, pakoras, biryani, and hot tea were served to guests throughout the event, creating a warm and welcoming environment for attendees of all ages.

A special highlight of the festival was the distribution of gifts among children, bringing smiles and excitement to young attendees celebrating Eid with their families. Separate mehndi arrangements for women also attracted significant participation and added traditional festive colors to the occasion.
The event was organized under the patronage of Hamza Akram of Centric Care Pharmacy, whose efforts were widely appreciated by the community. The successful arrangement of the Eid Festival was made possible with the cooperation and support of several prominent community businesses and volunteers who contributed to making the celebration memorable.
Among the distinguished personalities attending the festival were Nassau County Executive Chaudhry Akram, community leaders Mohsin Shah, Own Naqvi, Adil Rahman, Arshad Khan, and Humayun Shabbir, along with numerous respected members of the Pakistani-American and South Asian community.

Speakers and participants praised the organizers for promoting unity, cultural harmony, and community engagement through such family-oriented events. Attendees exchanged Eid greetings with one another while enjoying the lively atmosphere filled with traditional Eid celebrations and community bonding.
The Eid Festival once again highlighted the cultural diversity and strong community ties of Valley Stream and Long Island’s Pakistani-American community, reflecting the spirit of togetherness, peace, and celebration associated with Eid festivities.
