The delegation held key meetings with senior officials from the U.S. Department of State and Department of Commerce. Discussions focused on identifying priority industries, expanding business collaboration, and further enhancing cordial diplomatic and trade relations between the two countries.

A significant highlight was the meeting with Congressman Tom Suozzi Chair of the Pakistan Caucus in the U.S. Congress. The discussions centered on the current and future outlook of U.S.-Pakistan relations, with particular emphasis on boosting trade in high-potential sectors such as Rare Earth Minerals, Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare ,and Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Congressman Suozzi appreciated RCCI’s proactive efforts in promoting bilateral economic cooperation.

The delegation also met with Esperanza Gomez Jelalian , President of the U.S.-Pakistan Business Council , at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington, D.C. The talks were highly productive, covering ways to enhance the bilateral investment footprint, strengthen business linkages, and create a more conducive environment for trade and economic engagement.
Additionally, the RCCI team engaged with Pakistan’s diplomatic mission, including a meeting with Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh and Minister (Trade & Investment) Mohammad Hanif Channa at the Embassy of Pakistan. These interactions underscored the importance of private sector initiatives in complementing official diplomatic efforts to deepen U.S.-Pakistan economic partnerships.

This visit marks a notable step forward, as it represents one of the prominent instances of Pakistani business leaders directly engaging with U.S. lawmakers, congressional caucuses, and key government agencies to advocate for expanded trade opportunities. The RCCI delegation’s proactive outreach is seen as vital for fostering long-term bilateral investment, trade growth, and stronger people-to-people economic connections between Pakistan and the United States.
