Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Addresses Press Conference in New York, Highlights Pakistan’s Peaceful Message

New York – Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, held an important press conference in New York during his visit to the United States. Speaking to Pakistani-American journalists, Bilawal said that Pakistan has presented its position clearly and confidently at the United Nations and in meetings with various international representatives.

He said that Pakistan’s message is one of peace and diplomacy, and it has been well-received by the global community. “We met with all the key figures at the UN and with representatives from important countries. Everyone has recognized Pakistan’s responsible and transparent stance,” Bilawal said.

He strongly criticized India for not being serious about peace. “India says it wants to talk, but its actions show otherwise. On one hand, they talk about peace; on the other, they keep violating the ceasefire, block water, and hurt innocent people,” he stated.

Bilawal also mentioned that India’s defense technology, including the S-400 system, is not as effective as it claims. “Pakistan has exposed their narrative. Modi’s story is not winning anymore,” he added.

Regarding Kashmir, Bilawal said that the only way to bring peace in South Asia is to find a fair solution to the Kashmir issue. “We want peace, but peace can’t happen unless Kashmir is resolved. This is the truth and this is our message,” he said.

He also referred to U.S. President Donald Trump’s role in calming down tensions in the past, saying, “Trump has said several times that he helped during the ceasefire. We appreciate his efforts, but a long-term solution is still needed.”

Bilawal made it clear that Pakistan is not only peaceful but also a country that has paid the highest price in the fight against terrorism. “We have faced terrorism like no one else. While we condemn all attacks, the world should recognize our sacrifices.”

He ended the press conference by saying that Pakistan will continue to promote peace and expects the world, especially the U.S., to support this goal. “If India wants respect, it must act responsibly. We have shown the world who wants peace and who wants to create problems,” he concluded.
